Challenge:
The GEnx, a revolutionary commercial engine, would be formally launched at the 2009 Paris Air Show and Power was tasked with developing a theme and an integrated booth design.
Answer:
Working in concert with the GE Aviation marketing team, Power developed the theme, “Black is the new green,” to communicate the environmental features of the engine and the fact that the engine case and blades were the first in the industry composed of black composite materials. The team then designed the entire booth and graphics to reflect the theme and educate visitors about the features of GE’s next generation engine, including 3D animations and interactive displays.
