Challenge:
Design a GE Profile™ kitchen that appeals to someone who lives in the Northwest, likes the Arts and Crafts style and wants to feature his new stylish Profile hood.
Answer:
We built a “shrine” to feature the cooking area, with tall tapered columns, a bowed cornice clad in slate mosaic, rich natural cherry cabinetry in a simple Shaker style, and oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Rustic elements such as the slate tile mingle with more contemporary elements, like the frosted and glossy charcoal glass backsplash. Juxtaposition of clean lines and warm finishes creates an intimate, inviting atmosphere.
