Challenge:
The Monogram Design Center in New York's Architects & Designers Building is a Manhattan-themed showroom with a variety of appliances on display. Because the site motif is more artful than literal, the Monogram team wanted a brochure that functioned as a reference guide, giving visitors insights into the various points of interest in the Center.
Answer:
Using an editorial-style page format, along with a city-grid graphic consistent with the pattern of the center's terrazzo floor, the Design Center brochure walks visitors through the various kitchens and appliance vignettes featured in the Center. A folder in the back of the brochure is designed to accommodate schedules of cooking demonstrations and other events held at the Center.
