The National Center for Family Literacy needed to acknowledge and celebrate a 20-year partnership with the Toyota Motor Corporation.
Answer:
Power created an emotionally charged video to showcase success stories of the Toyota Family Literacy Program. The video emphasized the point of family literacy – to empower parents to make a lasting and positive change in their lives and the lives of those around them. The students, teachers and administrators highlighted in the video became the faces of the effort, creating an emotional atmosphere where the audience – and the benefactor, Toyota – could grasp the true impact family literacy has on individuals and communities across the country. The video premiered at NCFL’s national convention, which was attended by several Toyota delegates, including Dr. Toyoda.
