Well, 21 years if you count summer jobs as a high-school kid, but officially, it has been 14 years.

What is the most fulfilling part of your career?

Our client base of world-class brands and companies has given me the opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest pros around the world. Corner me at a cocktail party and I’ll talk your ear off about everything from great Italian food to advanced aircraft engines.

Name your top three favorite Louisville destinations.

Churchill Downs — love showing off our history and culture at Derby time. Gallery Hop in the summertime. Louisville International Airport (it’s always great to come home).

What advice would you give to someone starting out in advertising?

Work hard, take your licks, reap the kudos and admit mistakes. Oh, and leave that ego at the door.

At 6 years old, what did you want to do when you grew up?

Be a fireman. No, I really wanted to be my own boss and franchise my lemonade stand concept to every neighborhood in Louisville.

What is your favorite ad campaign of all time?

The launch campaign for the Mini Cooper. Every execution across all media perfectly introduced the personality behind the modern brand. Brilliant.
