Oftentimes when working on a job we’ll realize that what we’re working on would also be a pretty cool desktop image. So of course we go ahead and render out a frame for that purpose. A bit self-indulgent I guess, but it is still better than that default Windows hill picture with the yellow flowers. Mac users still have better default options, but I am not declaring I am a Mac or I'm a PC anytime soon. Anyhoo, here are three of those we've done in the past that we think people may like. They are not obtrusive unless you have 50 icons on your desktop. If that is the case, you should probably be cleaning that up instead of reading this. The bluish desktop is from the Estopinal animation which is in our portfolio gallery. The glass tree is from a Christmas card concept that never saw the light of day (sad face). The last one is from the intro of our new CGI reel. Check them out if you're interested.
