On Pushing Boundaries...

I came across this interview with Steven Sasson - the man who invented the digital camera at Kodak in 1975. At first glance, it is a huge, impractical toaster-sized beast. Yet... listen closely to the main features of the device, and pay close attention to his reasons behind his design decisions. (Keeping in mind the technology of the day - your mom's Asahi Pentax loaded with 36 exposures of Kodachrome and a 1-week wait for your photos from the local drug store or photo hut.)
