David literally grew up at Power watching the inner workings of the ad game and working his own way up the ladder. After receiving a B.S. in business from UofL, David re-joined his father and company founder, Mike Power, and transformed Power Graphics into Power Creative, a full-service creative agency. The last 16 years have served him well, as he has refined his unique ability to recognize and integrate progressive marketing capabilities into the agency. Today, as President and CEO, David is positioning Power as the most highly qualified and best-equipped creative partner in the region.
With strong ties to his hometown community, David’s ambition extends well beyond the Power Creative campus. He serves on the boards for the Trinity High School Foundation; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana; Indian Summer Camp, an annual retreat for kids with cancer; and on the Board of Trustees for the Olmsted Parks Conservancy. When he’s not sitting on boards and attending meetings, you can find David enjoying the peace and quiet of his historic home with a pair of adopted canines, Zoe and Bailey.
